Claim your tax credit

1.Register, or login to your MyIR account.  Under 'Account summary', click 'Donation tax credit' to begin the process.

2.Next, click 'Add a receipt'. Receipts can be uploaded throughout the tax year, meaning you can upload them to your account as soon as you receive them.

3.When entering your donation tax credit receipts, enter the following information:

Organisation name: Second Suits Trust

Organisation IRD number: 141-027-956

Organisation charity number: CC61646

Donation type: Other

Receipt date: [x]

Receipt amount: [x]

·You will then need to 'Add receipt attachments'. Attach the receipt by either saving it as a pdf and uploading it or, if the receipt is physical, you can scan or take a photo of the receipt and upload it that way. Put in a description for the document such as "Tax receipt – Second Suits Trust".

·Once complete, click "OK" and ensure the receipt details are correct.

·On the final page you will be asked if you would like to transfer your credit. You can click 'yes' if you wish to do so (and you can transfer this back to Second Suits Trust), or click 'no' if you would like the credit to come back to you.

In the alternative, you can complete a 'Tax credit claim form – IR526' and submit all your receipts after the tax year ends on 31 March. You will need to post this form and the accompanying receipts to:
